Thomas S. Sauer, M.D.
Board Certified Orthopaedic SurgeonDr. Sauer attended medical school at Georgetown University and performed his internship there; his Orthopaedic training took place at Albany (NY) Medical Center. He served two years in the U.S. Navy as a Staff Orthopaedist at Bethesda Naval Hospital.
Dr. Sauer is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (1977), is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Foot and Ankle Society.
Dr. Sauer has special osteoporosis training and is certified by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry.
